What helps most
- Which game, and which phone or tablet you are on.
- The version number, printed at the bottom of the game’s settings page.
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see.
Questions that come up
Where are my records kept, and can I move them to a new phone?
They live in the app’s own storage on the device, because the game has no servers to keep them on. That means they do not follow you to a new phone. A device backup that includes app data will carry them across; a fresh install on a new phone starts empty.
The game says a board was rejected from the leaderboard.
Each level has a difficulty floor measured in 3BV. A board that falls below it still counts as a win, but it will not take a record slot — otherwise an unusually open board would beat a well-played hard one. Turning on Consistent Difficulty in settings makes the game pick boards near the level’s standard, so this stops happening.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, completely. There is nothing in the game that needs a connection, including the Daily map in March mode, which is built from the date on your device.
Can I turn off the haptics or the sound?
Both, separately, from the settings page.
