At a glance
Clay Tales is a block puzzle game for Android and iPhone that mashfun, a one-person studio in Vietnam, is still making. It plays like the block puzzles you already know, adds combos that press out special pieces and fairy-tale bosses that change each run, and is being built with no ads, no in-app purchases and no account. It has no release date yet.

Page updated:
The first three minutes are deliberately familiar — drag a piece onto the grid, fill a row, watch it clear. No items, no boss, no explaining. The new parts arrive once you already know what you are doing.
Everything is clay. Pieces are pressed, not drawn; they squash when they land and crack when a row goes. That is the part the screenshots have to carry, and it is why the art is being made before anything else gets announced.
What's inside
Combos that make something
Clearing rows back to back does not just add score — it presses out a special piece you then have to decide where to spend. Every placement becomes a small question: fill the row now, or hold on and feed the combo?
Bosses from old stories
A run is broken up by fairy-tale creatures that have to be worn down rather than out-scored. They are the reason two runs are never the same, without hundreds of hand-built levels behind them.
No safety net
No ads, which also means no watch-a-video revival. When a run ends, it ends. The whole structure is built around that being true.
Where it is now
The game rules are written and tested, and the clay art direction is settled. There is no release date, and there will not be one announced until the thing is actually playable end to end. If you want to know when it lands, the stores will tell you before this page does.
